Garden Gnome Introductions

About Geefrank

Hi, I am Geefrank and I am a garden gnome. On my next birthday I'll be 180-years old, but I am still in the prime of my little gnome life. Gnomes typically live to be about 250 years of age, or even older.

Geefrank, garden gnome gardener.
I am 14 ½ digits tall, or almost 11 ½ inches. Sometimes I like to say 29 centimeters, just ‘cause it sounds taller. On days when my ego is out of control, I might even say 290 millimeters tall. I weigh 119 shekels, about 3.6 pounds or 1.35 kilograms.

I am decendent from a long line of gardeners with an interesting history .

We are a long-lived race, due to our love of hard work and a simple life centered on our vegetable gardens. Actually, we like all kinds of gardening, but we have to eat, so the veggie garden comes first.

We are vegetarians. We simply couldn't eat any of our animal friends. In fact, most of us are vegans. Not a philosophical choice, we just aren't tall enough to milk a cow or a goat. But we get by just fine on what we grow in our gardens. When a gnome dies, there can be no greater accolade than to say, “ He was a good gardener”.

Martafrank, my girl gnome mate.

My Girl Gnome Mate

There are certainly girl gnomes, though the female gnomes are very shy, and less often seen by you humans. But, as with humans, they are the spark and the spirit of our families. This is my wife, Martafrank. Isn’t she gorgeous?

Girl gnomes are great gardeners, too. In fact, we probably wouldn’t have any beautiful flowers in our gardens, but for the female gnome persuasion.

My Best Lawn Gnome Friend

Ricken, my lawn gnome friend.

Finally, I give my great thanks to Ricken, our Webmaster. Garden gnomes aren’t great with your human tech stuff, but Ricken has devoted much of his life to helping us catch up with your web technology, so that we can share our garden sense with you.

Ricken was never much of a gardener, anyway. He was more of a hang out on the lawn gnome. Now, lawn gnomes are usually pretty lazy. But Ricken discovered one of your human inventions, the computer, and here we are on the net.
