Cherokee Purple

This tomato has been grown since the Cherokee inhabited Georgia and Alabama. It's a large tomato with luscious texture and taste. It doesn't seem to get any of the diseases that I normally worry about in this humid climate apparently because it's been grown here long enough to be adapted to the Southeastern climate.
